To commemorate the big third birthday, we hosted the first "friends" birthday party recently. Eight little friends, their parent(s), grammies, an aunt, and nanny all joined in the fun. Thankfully the weather was very nice and we were able to have lots of fun outside in the bounce house and on the climbing structure. Unfortunately, we didn't take too many pictures, but here are a few from the party.
I'd also made a birthday crown for the Megster, based on an idea from
soulemama's book. I was happy with how it came out and I think that the birthday girl liked it alright, but it definitely wasn't exactly a super-I'm-going-to-sleep-in-it-because-I-love-it-so-much type hit.
Next up is writing those thank you notes and working on making a cape to accompany a little witch-y costume.
